Accessibility
Looking for work shouldn't depend on how you see, hear, move or read. We're building Zezado to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on the website and in the app. We haven't had it audited by an outside expert yet.
What we do
- The website works with a keyboard alone. Each page starts with a “Skip to content” link, and the item in focus has a visible outline.
- Form fields have labels, errors are announced to screen readers, and photos and icons have text alternatives or are hidden from them.
- Pages follow your browser's text size and zoom, and work in light and dark mode.
- If you ask your device for less motion, we turn off animation.
- Zezado is written in plain language, in eight languages, including right-to-left Arabic.
What still needs work
- Downloaded CVs (PDF) may not read well in every screen reader yet. Your profile page has the same information.
- Job descriptions are written by employers and may not follow these guidelines.
- We haven't yet tested every page with VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA. Tell us where we fall short.
Tell us
If something on Zezado is hard to use, write to us with the topic “Something isn't working”. Say which page, and what you use, for example a screen reader or zoom. We can send you information in another format.
